Paige Rothfus is a poet, novelist, teacher, and also the founder/creator of Black Bird Magazine.
I'm the lovechild of a wandering philospher and a sarcastic melodramtic poet. My life inspires the stories I write and the art that grips me on lonely nights. I like to walk barefoot along rivers, have deep conversations, tell stories and jokes, stay up late enough to see all the stars come out, and get people to laugh.
If I had only one day to live, I would spend it in the forest, climbing trees, jotting down poems, and thinking up one last great joke to tell.
My goal with Black Bird Magazine is to produce a publication that inspires other artists to create.
