Who makes Gothic Blackbird possible?
Currently we are funded primarily by money we collect from fundraising activities such as bakesales and pop can collection boxes around the DMACC campus. Some money comes as donations and out-of-pocket gifts from the members and staff of the Creative Writing Guild, and the SAC (Student Activities Council) also donates a small portion yearly. A small amount of money comes from magazine sale, and as we grow in the coming years, we hope to be able to rely more on this asset.
